Historic Floods in Brazil. The southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, is experiencing an unprecedented natural disaster. Abnormal rains and severe floods have already affected 401 out of 497 municipalities. The state government has declared a state of emergency.

POWERFUL TORNADO IN THE USA. On April 26, a powerful tornado outbreak struck the USA, leaving behind destruction and more than a dozen injured. The Storm Prediction Center received at least 78 tornado reports: 37 in Iowa, 29 in Nebraska, 5 in Kansas, 4 in Missouri, and 3 in Texas. Numerous cases of severe hail and extreme winds were also reported. These events were part of a severe weather system spanning over 60 million Americans.

Earthquake M 5.6 in Turkey. On April 18, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in Turkey. The epicenter was in the Sulusaray district of Tokat province, approximately 280 miles east of the capital, Ankara.

Large-scale Floods in the Russian Federation. The spring floods of 2024 in Russia turned into a real disaster. The consequences of the flood were felt in 39 regions of the country, but the situation was particularly dire in the Orenburg region. The breach of a dam, built to protect the city of Orsk from the overflow of the Ural River, led to the emergency evacuation of local residents. The floods resulted in a decrease in the quality of tap water and a shortage of drinking water.

Anomalous Floods in the Russian Federation. The spring floods of 2024 in Russia turned into a real disaster. Record warm temperatures at the beginning of spring led to rapid snowmelt simultaneously in many parts of the country. As a result, the water level in rivers began to rise rapidly, leading to extensive flooding.

Magnitude 7.4 Earthquake Hits Taiwan! On April 3rd, the island of Taiwan experienced its most powerful earthquake in the last 25 years, measuring 7.4 in magnitude. The epicenter was located at sea, 15.5 miles southeast of Hualien County, with a focal depth of 9.6 miles.

Earthquake M6.5 in Indonesia. On March 22, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake rocked the Tuban area in East Java province.

Mexico. Anomalous Hailstorm. On the day of March 15, residents of Coahuila state, Mexico, faced a powerful storm accompanied by hail the size of a tennis ball or even a baseball (with a diameter of up to 10 centimeters).
